Mr Bruce Richard MB,BS, FRCS, MS, FRCS (Plast) is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Birmingham Children’s Hospital and University Hospital Birmingham NHS Trust. Mr Richard’s NHS clinical work involves treating children, young people and adults with facial deformities as a result of cleft lip and palate or other birth defects. He also carries out muscle transplants for re-animating the face to create a smile for those with paralysis of the facial nerve.
